FAQ

Domicil Service
  1. Are there any requirements?

Our domicile service is available to both natural and legal persons. Depending on the package, you can also have your address entered in official registers. We verify your identity by means of official documents, and you can then make use of the service. It can be a great advantage for both Swiss and foreign persons to have their own, separate address in Switzerland.

  2. Which documents will be checked?

In principle, the identity of the natural person is checked on the basis of official documents (scan/photo). The current address data is checked against the last bill from your energy supplier or telephone provider. This ensures that the information is genuine and up-to-date at all times.

  3. Will you send my private address to 3rd parties?

No, of course not. This information is subject to strict Swiss data protection. The only exceptions are official orders from law enforcement agencies, debt collection offices or municipal authorities. In this case, we are obliged to disclose your contact and address data.

    This includes

    • First name and surname
    • copies of identity documents
    • Last known residential address
    • Postal forwarding address, if applicable
    • Telephone number(s)
    • Email address(es)

  4. What is a 'Sub-Address'?

For the Start Package we set up a so-called sub-address at the Swiss Post. Basically it is an alias address to our own address. The letters are automatically “forwarded” to our name at the post office. The sender only needs to enter your name (company or private), Bahnstrasse 8, 8603 Schwerzenbach. Your name will not appear on the mailbox and with this address you cannot have your name entered in official registers.

  5. What is a 'c/o Address'?

For the c/o address, you use our company name as the recipient address, i.e. <Ihr Name / Firma> , c/o sallnet GmbH, 8603 Schwerzenbach. You can also use this address in official registers (commercial register, etc.) and also represents a real domicile address. The mailbox is not labelled with this address.

  6. What is 'Own Domicil Address'?

In the case of your own domicile address, the mailbox will be addressed and our address will be the address of your place of business. You can use this address according to legal regulations. The address is then: <your name/company>, Bahnstrasse 8, 8603 Schwerzenbach. The mailbox will be labelled with your name.

  7. Can I only receive my mail digitally??

Yes this is possible. In this case we will open and scan your mail and send it by email to your email address. For this effort additional costs will be charged, see our prices.

  8. What are the notice periods?

You can cancel the domicil service annually (1 month before the end of the contract). For the secretarial service, a monthly notice period applies to the end of the month.

  9. Can I use your adress with ``Einwohnerkontrolle`` as a homeadress?

NO, absolutly not. It is forbidden to use our adress for any private registration with “Einwohnerkontrolle” – any violation leads to the suspension of the contract and cancellation.

Secretariat Service
  1. How long are the contract periods?

You can book the secretarial service on a monthly or yearly basis, the cancellation is always one month to the end of the term.

  2. How flexible am I in using the service?

You can redirect to a Swiss number at any time, whenever you need free space, or you can use the service permanently – just as you wish.

  3. What is the situation with call charges?

In contrast to our competitors, you pay only a low monthly provision price with us. Every incoming call is charged according to the published rates, namely per call – not per minute as with other providers. So the costs remain well calculable, even if a caller needs a little longer.

  4. How am I notified of a call?

After an incoming call you will receive a note via email to previously agreed addresses free of charge. Optionally you can also be informed via SMS (additional costs)

  5. Did the caller noticed that my secretariat is operated by SwissOffice24?

No, absolutely not. We act like an internal employee, the caller won’t know the difference. With the information you give us in advance, we have a picture of your company and adapt accordingly.

  6. What do ``Federal Holidays`` mean

These are the public holidays that apply in all cantons

  7. How are the call charges billed?

You always pay the base price in advance. At the end of the month, you will receive the cost statement and invoice for the call costs incurred retroactively and the base price for the following month.

  8. In which languages do you accept calls?

We accept calls in German or English. This ensures a uniform appearance, regardless of whether the caller comes from Bern, Basel, Graubünden or abroad.
